The Girl Next Door

Chick Flicks. They’re clichéd, overly sweet and perfect in an unreal way.

The girl next door is all the above things and more. Emile Hirsch plays the chocolatey young boy with real conviction, the plot is clichéd but the screenplay saves it for the movie. The story packs in some turns on the way and does not end up being a usual chick flick but a chick flick with some difference.

You can watch this movie on a lazy afternoon when it’s too sunny outside and you’re too lazy even to take a nap.
